Shinmei Co., Ltd. was founded in 1964, starting with the after-sales service business for Ricoh copiers. At that time, as a subcontractor for Ricoh products, we were able to operate smoothly for a while. However, being a subcontractor indefinitely meant we could never be sure when work might dry up. Feeling uncertain about this unclear future, we began developing our own original products from 1981, with our first product being a "stamp and counting machine for vouchers, checks, bills (securities)," which was adopted by many companies, allowing us to build a solid track record. Since then, through marketing that does not limit itself to a single industry, we have been supplying unique products to various industries in the market. It is clear that the Japanese market will shrink due to declining birth rates. As globalization of the market progresses, we have established production bases in China and are also advancing our overseas expansion. Moving forward, as a manufacturer, we aim to develop more good products and strive to be a company that contributes to society, with all employees working together towards this goal.
