Niigata Electric Co., Ltd. was founded in 1973 in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, a snowy region, with the aim of effective utilization of water resources and energy conservation in snow melting systems. Since then, we have developed various automatic control devices and sensors related to snow, including the snowfall sensor "SnowCon." In the field of snow measurement, we have introduced snow depth gauges, snow weight gauges, blizzard meters (SPC), and snow information systems, contributing to the development of snow and ice disaster prevention, snow information, and snow and ice research fields. Some of our developed products are unique to Niigata Electric and are not produced anywhere else in the world. Based on the technology, know-how, and achievements we have cultivated over the years, we will continue to actively engage in the development of new products, applied technology, and collaborative research to contribute to a better society and a more livable snowy region.
