Fine Tool Japan started in 1973 as a sales company for fine blanking press machines (FB presses). Initially, it was primarily accepted as a manufacturing technology for office machine parts, but due to the improvement of press machines and precision mold processing technology, as well as the needs for high added value and cost reduction in the manufacturing industry, it developed into the production of automotive parts and is widely utilized in the manufacturing of machine parts. Currently, it serves as the technical center for the Fine Tool Group in Asia, providing total solutions in fine blanking processing.
Business Activities
Fine blanking technology (FB) was invented in the early 1920s. Subsequently, this technology was accepted in the field of thin sheet press forming as a new economic means of production. Fine Tool Company was founded in 1959 and began to expand "fine blanking technology" into the industry, and since then, it has continuously made corporate efforts to penetrate the manufacturing sector. As a result, it was listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange in 1998, and now has its headquarters in the town of Rüti near the Swiss capital Bern, with production and sales bases in Germany, the United States, Japan, and China, leading global business as a total solution company for fine blanking and forming.
