We would like to introduce a case study of improvements at JUKI Corporation's subsidiary, JUKI Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. At JUKI Industrial Technology Co., Ltd., three factories collaborate in manufacturing, but previously, production progress was inconsistent, leading to overproduction and shortages. By visualizing the production progress and synchronizing it, along with various smart improvements, we achieved increased productivity and the elimination of waste. We will present this case study of improvements. Additionally, we will introduce the manufacturing of parts utilizing the MIM (Metal Injection Molding) method at our other subsidiary, JUKI Aizu Co., Ltd. The MIM method is based on the Permatec method and has been developed through over 40 years of independent research and improvement at JUKI.
