Ōkawa City, located at the mouth of the Chikugo River flowing into the Ariake Sea in central Kyushu. Founded in 1958, the company shifted from manufacturing fittings to indoor furniture, leading to the establishment of Shiki Interior Industry Co., Ltd. in January 1994. We have sought to break away from mass production aligned with outdated consumerism and to create what we truly want, enriching lives in the process. We have explored what we can do to achieve this. It is not about self-satisfaction; it is about being considerate of the environment and generating inspiration and smiles in everyday life. How happy it would be for creators to achieve that. We have gradually been able to imbue our furniture with such feelings, refine our skills, and create new values, transforming our thoughts into tangible forms.
