"Electroless nickel plating" is a product that can increase hardness up to Hv500±50 (with a plating thickness of about 25μm). It is also possible to harden it up to Hv1000 through heat treatment. It provides better adhesion than electroplated nickel and does not peel off even when bent. Additionally, it does not peel off when heated to high temperatures, which helps prevent the formation of scale due to surface oxidation of iron. "Trivalent chromium plating" is a chromium plating that uses a trivalent chromium plating solution and is free of hexavalent chromium. The metallic chromium that precipitates as a plating film is safe; however, depending on the shape of the product, there is a risk that hexavalent chromium from the plating solution may remain in fine processing areas and gaps.
