Previously, the platform we used posed a danger as items could slip off when placed on it, and it was necessary to carry it when moving. Therefore, there was room for improvement. To address this, we enclosed the platform with L-angle to prevent slipping, laid down rubber mats for anti-slip measures, reinforced the platform as it was unstable, and added casters for easier mobility. We would like to introduce a case study of the improvement proposal for the "Earthquake and Flood Protection Device for Compressors" that our company implemented. The compressor, which nearly malfunctioned due to flooding from the typhoon in 2018, was at risk of tipping over during a major earthquake. To address this, we elevated the compressor to a height that would prevent it from getting wet even if seawater flooded the area, and secured it to the wall with S-hooks and chains to prevent it from tipping over during an earthquake. Additionally, we used tension rods to secure the gap between the wall and the compressor, pulling it tight with the chains. As a result, the risk of flooding was reduced, and the danger of tipping over during a major earthquake was minimized. Before the improvement, it was inconvenient to transport products that could not be carried by hand using a standard cart, and it was not possible to transport them when the truck was stopped, leading to many scenes where items were carried by hand. Therefore, we created the "Ultimate Hagane Cart." After the improvement, it became possible to load one-gallon cans (up to three cans), half drums, and a pallet (500 kg), and it could also be unloaded with a lift. It can accommodate long items as well, with a capacity of up to one ton, and the width was adjusted to carry both one-gallon cans and bundled items. It can carry parts, and because it is narrow when the truck is stopped, it allows for passage. Before the improvement, when adding mist oil to the cutting machine, we had to hold a pail can and transfer the mist oil to the oil jug, which caused the mist oil to spill on the floor and the pail can itself to get dirty. Additionally, there were two types of mist oil, "AML-3" and "AML-4," but they were placed haphazardly, making them difficult to identify. To address these issues, we purchased "Kokkun" and created "Kurukuru Kokkun." We visualized the types of mist oil using text and color, and it can also accommodate spare mist oil. By rotating the handle, it can also handle small amounts of remaining mist oil. If the striped plate in the oil jug's drip tray gets dirty, it can be removed and wiped clean.
