On May 16, 2023, our company entered into a contract aimed at acquiring 83.7% of the shares (on a voting rights basis) of Ultimate Technologies Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture, representative: Tetsu Uchiumi), which provides advanced technology services. <Purpose of Share Acquisition> Our EMS business has established its own factories in 12 locations across 9 countries, providing total support from electronic device design to material procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, offering high-quality contract manufacturing services for electronic devices in diverse fields such as OA, automotive, home appliances, industrial, medical, and aerospace. On the other hand, UTI specializes in providing advanced technical services in the field of advanced electronics. They have particular strengths in circuit design, simulation, and analysis technology, with numerous achievements in the development of advanced safety automotive-related projects. By combining the strengths of both companies, we will strive to enhance our consistent manufacturing services from the initial stages of product development through prototyping, mass production design, and manufacturing.

In May 2021, the third building of our EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) business facility in the Philippines was completed. The first building has been operational since June 1997, and the second building was added in 2000. This latest expansion aims to further meet our customers' diverse needs and to enhance the growth of our EMS business. With the completion of the third building, the total floor area has increased to 17,130 square meters, further boosting our production capacity. We are accelerating our efforts towards becoming a smart factory and will continue to support various products, including automotive, consumer, and industrial equipment, from printed circuit board assembly to finished product assembly. We remain committed to responding to our customers' needs and enhancing our services.

In June 2020, our company completed the construction of the second building of our EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) facility in Vietnam. The first building has been operational since October 2005, and the second building was constructed to meet various customer demands and further expand our EMS business. With the completion of the second building, the total floor area has been expanded to 36,157 square meters when combined with the first building, enhancing our production capacity. Additionally, by creating a clean environment, we will continue to support a wide range of services from consumer electronics to automotive devices, including circuit board assembly and final product assembly. We remain committed to responding to our customers' needs and enhancing our services.
