Tect Co., Ltd. leads the circular economy with Japan’s only TSF and over 20 years of recycled materials experience, creating the shape of the future.
Our company has two sites in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture: the Compound Division and the Thermoforming Division. We focus on vacuum forming of plastics and coloring/compounding as our two main business pillars. We develop products for a wide range of fields including medical, housing equipment, home appliances, vehicles, logistics, and amusement. For over 20 years, we have been actively utilizing various recycled materials and operate an integrated recycling system within our group, from material crushing to sheet production and vacuum forming. Prioritizing environmental care, we actively promote corporate activities focused on reducing plastic use by employing non-petrochemical bio-based materials and eggshells. We have obtained ISO 9001 certification.
Business Activities
【Compound Division】 Prescriptions that breathe function and life into materials. We handle coloring and functional compounding for various plastic raw materials. We own eight extrusion lines capable of processing general-purpose resins up to super engineering plastics with processing temperatures of around 350°C. This extensive equipment allows us to flexibly meet customer orders, from mixing recycled materials to adding special functionalities. We select pigments compliant with the revised Food Sanitation Act and obtain suitability certifications. Our products include air conditioner filters with anti-mold properties, toy materials with brightness ensured by specialized mixing, and functional materials for recovery wear expected to aid fatigue recovery. We provide high-performance, high-quality products tailored to customer needs. ISO 9001 certified. 【Thermoforming Division】 Realizing high rigidity and hollow structures with Japan’s only TSF technology. We utilize over 700mm deep-draw technology used for refrigerator liners. Our products are widely adopted in rail vehicle components for Shinkansen and subways, as well as transport goods. Especially, Twin Sheet Forming (TSF) adds high rigidity and insulation effects. We provide high value-added products such as logistics containers with integrated legs and disaster-use linked floor panels (T-MAP) made with extensive recycled resin use, offering integrated design through assembly.
