The "Electron Beam Crosslinking Wire and Tube Transport Line" is a device for handling the electron beam irradiation crosslinking of wires or tubes. It mainly consists of a feeding machine, pulley stand, take-up machine, and winding machine, and is capable of handling ultra-fine wires, achieving stable handling even at low tension. The "Vacuum Water Tank and Three-Axis Movable Water Tank" is a water tank for medical tube molding. The "Vacuum Water Tank" stabilizes the molding of tubes using a vacuum chamber and sizing die. The "Three-Axis Movable Water Tank" allows for adjustment of the water tank position in three axes: left-right, front-back, and up-down, enabling the cooling of tubes that come out of the mold at the appropriate position. The "Tube Pickup and Cutting Machine" is a pickup and cutting machine for the production of medical tubes. The "pickup machine" adopts a belt caterpillar system, enabling stable production from low to high speeds, while the "cutting machine" can cut tubes to any specified length and number of cuts. We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of a tube extrusion line aimed at in-house production of purchased items at our company. Previously, the dimensional accuracy of purchased tubes was unstable, leading to a high rate of defects during secondary processing and inconsistent yield. Therefore, we designed and manufactured a tube extrusion line capable of stable production within the required dimensional tolerances through vacuum sizing and automatic control of the outer diameter.
