CFT is a division of Carlisle Companies Incorporated, founded in 1917 in the United States, that deals with painting-related equipment.
In 1888, Dr. Allen DeVilbiss invented the spray gun, and subsequently, in 1936, Mr. Harold Ransburg patented an electrostatic spray painting method that applied electrostatics. This became the foundation for what later developed into "CFT: Carlisle Fluid Technologies." Our company was established in 1963 as Japan Ransburg Co., Ltd. through a joint investment by Ransburg Corporation in the United States and Tokiko Co., Ltd. After more than 50 years since its founding, we changed our company name to CFT Ransburg Co., Ltd. in May 2017. CFT oversees brands that boast excellent technologies in the field of industrial painting, including DeVILBISS for spray guns, Ransburg for electrostatic painting, Binks for high-efficiency bellows pumps, BGK for dryers, and MS for powder coating machines, providing advanced painting-related equipment and facilities in various regions around the world.
