We have manufactured a stainless steel draft chamber with two movable sashes at the front (width 1300mm). The movable sashes open and close in the vertical direction. Additionally, since it uses a balance weight system, the opening height can be freely adjusted, and the sashes will not fall due to their own weight. There are three main types of materials used for the body of the draft chamber, each with its own characteristics: 【Steel】 - Easy to process and commonly used for drafts, making it relatively inexpensive. - Chemical resistance due to powder coating. - Fire resistance. 【Stainless Steel】 - Resistant to organic solvents, particularly when using solvents that can dissolve the powder coating of steel products. 【PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)】 - A rust-free material, suitable for use with acids and chlorine gases that can corrode metals. This is an introduction to a special draft chamber used for combustion testing. In response to customer requests to have the inner walls and work surface in black to better observe the smoke generated during combustion of materials, we designed and manufactured it accordingly. Since the inner walls and work surface are black, we used black caulking material for the joints. Additionally, the cut surfaces have also been painted black. Furthermore, by adding a maintenance opening to the front glass window, we have minimized the airflow required to observe the smoke accurately during testing. Another feature of this product is that it allows for the shutdown of airflow using a pneumatic damper when the fan is stopped. Additionally, to temporarily enhance the airtightness during testing, we have installed mohair (pile weather seal) for the first time on the window frame of the front glass.
