Andata Hyogu Store Nansodo is a traditional Kyoto hyogu shop with a 95-year history, located at the southern end of Kamigyo Ward in Kyoto City, close to the north gate of Nijo Castle. We handle a wide range of services, including the new production and reupholstering of fusuma and shoji, as well as the new production, repair, and restoration of frames, folding screens, and hanging scrolls, along with wall coverings (such as waist panels, wall-mounted washi paper, and gold leaf application). Our work is carried out carefully by certified traditional craftspeople designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, and first-class hyogu technicians certified by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare. For all your Kyoto hyogu needs, please leave it to us!
