We will introduce examples that contributed to reducing development costs by avoiding unnecessary mold production!

We would like to introduce examples of processing using Mizuho Industry's unique "plate chocolate manufacturing method." Our customers faced challenges such as a high demand for comparing multiple insert shapes during the development stage, and the conventional mold manufacturing process being geared towards mass production, making it unsuitable for small lot production. After processing at our company, we significantly shortened the development lead time, allowing for efficient comparison and evaluation of multiple insert shapes. We were able to verify processing characteristics such as cutting resistance and chip discharge in advance during the small lot prototype stage. We would like to introduce a case study of the surface modification technology 'SurmoX' that can address the deep areas of deep drawing molds. In this case study, deep drawing processes for automotive and precision parts often face issues where friction and adhesion easily occur in the inner diameter of the mold die.
