Photocatalytic material "Titanistar(R)" *Verification from the perspective of physical properties

Introduction of the verification results showing that the photocatalyst, which contains no impurities, has grown a photocatalytic film from the pure titanium surface of the substrate without any interface.

Titanistar undergoes surface oxidation treatment on pure titanium, which is the metal titanium. A photocatalytic film free of impurities grows from the surface of pure titanium without any interface. In other words, the pure titanium substrate becomes TiO2 through surface oxidation treatment. Observations were conducted using optical instruments on the Titanistar photocatalytic film. - Surface observation using an electron microscope: The surface of Titanistar is porous and cluster-like, and it was found that the film grows from pure titanium without any interface. - Control of crystal structure: Titanistar can control its crystal structure. It can be adjusted to exhibit higher photocatalytic performance with structures such as anatase, rutile, or mixed types. - Observation of surface composition: The surface composition of Titanistar was observed, revealing that it is primarily composed of titanium and oxygen. From the above, it can be concluded that the photocatalyst Titanistar is free of impurities and that the photocatalytic film grows from the surface of the pure titanium substrate without any interface. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Titanium photocatalytic material "Titanistar(R)" *Oxidative decomposition ability and hydrophilicity

Conducting demonstration tests of photocatalytic capabilities! Introduction to oxidation decomposition ability and superhydrophilicity.

In general, photocatalysts have the ability to oxidatively decompose organic substances and harmful materials, rendering them harmless. It is said that hydrophilicity occurs on the surface of the photocatalyst in an excited state. We conducted verification tests on these photocatalytic capabilities. - Oxidative Decomposition Ability We treated a non-woven fabric made of pure titanium, cut into 100mm squares, with gas-type Titanister. After sealing it in a Tedlar bag with approximately 250ppm of acetaldehyde gas and reaching adsorption equilibrium, we irradiated it with a 1mW/cm² BLB lamp from above, measuring the concentration of acetaldehyde gas and the concentration of the reaction product, carbon dioxide, at regular intervals. As the concentration of acetaldehyde gas decreased due to Titanister, the concentration of the reaction product, carbon dioxide, increased. Ultimately, it was found that approximately 230ppm of acetaldehyde gas was almost completely decomposed, and a reaction product amounting to twice the concentration of acetaldehyde gas was generated. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Short-term antibacterial capability of the photocatalytic material "Titanistar(R)"

Introducing the short-term antibacterial capability of photocatalytic Titanister!

We report the antibacterial test results against Escherichia coli (E. coli) using the photocatalytic material "Titanistar®." In the photocatalyst industry, tests often last around 3 to 5 hours, so we confirmed the superiority of the antibacterial response through a test set with a short ultraviolet lamp irradiation time of 1 hour. 【Results of the antibacterial test with 1 hour of ultraviolet irradiation】 This time, we conducted an antibacterial test with an irradiation time of 1 hour. Using a strain of E. coli and a film adhesion method with a concentration of 2.5×10^S, we irradiated with 1 mW/cm² BLB. The test area consisted of titanium plates treated with Titanistar, while the control area consisted of untreated pure titanium plates. After 1 hour, no bacterial count could be detected on the Titanistar-treated plates. In contrast, the bacterial count on the untreated titanium plates showed almost no change. This indicates that Titanistar has a high photocatalytic ability. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Introduction to the shape and characteristics of the photocatalytic material "Titanistar(R)"

Unique surface oxidation treatment applied to pure titanium metal! Produced as a photocatalytic type of titanium dioxide.

The photocatalytic material "Titanistar(R)" is a photocatalyst produced by applying a unique surface oxidation treatment to pure titanium metal, generating titanium components within pure titanium as photocatalytic titanium dioxide. The substrate is pure titanium metal, not a titanium alloy. Therefore, it is not a coating type and does not use any of these raw materials. - Pure titanium substrate types include plates, meshes, lath meshes, and non-woven fabrics. All of these are flat, but three-dimensional molding processing in specified shapes, such as cylindrical forms, is possible. - Selection and shapes of pure titanium types: From performance and cost perspectives, "lath mesh material" treated with Titanistar is widely used, regardless of liquid phase or gas phase systems. - Titanistar series: - Titanistar MI=O: Dedicated for interference color effects. It has lower performance within the series. - Titanistar MI-W: Gas phase reaction type. Focused on performance. - Titanistar MI-C: Liquid phase reaction type. Thickness of the film. Highest performance class in the series. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Chitanistar(R) has been accepted in a paper by the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine.

Acceptance of paper publication in the International Medical Journal! Introduction to the adoption and efforts of 'Titanistar(R)' in biological surgery.

This is an introduction to a case study on the efforts to apply the photocatalytic material "Titanistar(R)" in biomedical surgery, in collaboration with the Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine's Department of Orthopedics. In orthopedic surgeries at this department, there have been instances of inflammation occurring at the site of skin incisions post-surgery. After various antibacterial tests and other initiatives, titanium pins used in orthopedic surgery were treated with Titanistar, and comparative tests were conducted against untreated titanium pins. As a result, surgeries using Titanistar-treated titanium pins showed significant advantages, with nearly 100 cases performed to date. This achievement has been accepted for publication in the "Titanistar(R)" International Medical Journal. It is rare in the photocatalytic industry to directly attach a material to the human body to activate photocatalytic functions, and this recognition was due to the safety and high performance of "Titanistar(R)." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We will be exhibiting at the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) held in Yokohama from August 20 to 22, 2025!

Following the previous TICAD7, we will be exhibiting from the booth of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), which has received technical approval. This time, we will target various African countries with the following approaches: 1. In urban areas where electricity is available, 2. In depopulated areas without electricity, we will use photocatalytic titania. In urban areas, we will efficiently produce large volumes using ultraviolet lamps and pumps. We will consume the produced drinking water while filling it into bottles for sale. In depopulated areas, we will produce drinking water using sunlight as the excitation light and consume it locally. We propose this type of business model. *For more details, please refer to the materials. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.
