Our company is a manufacturer and seller of ceramic raw materials with a history of over 80 years. In the vicinity of Seto City in Aichi Prefecture, the hometown of pottery, there are large deposits of high-quality silica sand, which is the main raw material for ceramics and glass. Our main business is to wash, crush, remove impurities, and sort the silica sand to meet our customers' needs. Additionally, we have successfully developed processing technology to utilize feldspar from the northeastern part of Aichi Prefecture as a raw material for glass.
Business Activities
Silica sand is the main raw material for various glass products such as plate glass and bottle glass, and is used in many products around us, including smartphones, computers, cars, and buildings. We process silica sand raw material mined from the quarry into a form suitable for glass manufacturing at our headquarters factory and the Furuseto factory. Feldspar: It serves as a secondary raw material for glass, as well as for bricks and tiles. After various trials and errors, we established the technology to process raw materials from the northeastern part of Aichi Prefecture and Gifu Prefecture for use as secondary raw materials in glass. This is produced at our headquarters factory. Powder: We process silica sand and feldspar into powder according to their applications. Additionally, we offer custom powder processing for glass-related materials, equipped with drying ovens, classifiers, magnetic separators, and more. Fiber: We are engaged in the recycling processing of glass fibers. This is part of our recycling and eco-business.
