We developed a power supply that can interchangeably use input and output modules. By avoiding complex control for both input and output, we simplified the circuit and improved reliability. This is a case study of an inverter power supply for driving power protection devices within a railway substation (converting DC input for railway substations to AC). Previously, small inverters were installed one by one for each protection device using a pseudo-sine wave. By incorporating overseas standards and input harmonic distortion countermeasures, we have made it compatible with both domestic and international markets.

At the customer's request, they wanted to cover multiple models with DC24V/48V/72V/110V, but due to cost issues and the complexity of purchase management, they consulted about wanting to consolidate into one model. Additionally, for overseas products, it was necessary to switch control circuits for each input voltage range. Achieving an accuracy of ±0.5% of the actual value! We respond to high precision demands in constant current output.

This is an example of a DC current amplifier for large coils developed and designed by our company. There was a request for a constant current output accuracy of ±1% or less relative to the input voltage. Therefore, we selected high-precision devices for the isolation amplifier used in the control section. By using devices that can achieve an accuracy of 1/100 compared to general-purpose resistors and capacitors, we optimized the circuit design around the isolation amplifier.
