In the machinery and equipment designed and manufactured by Company N, the material "red rubber" was used for the parts in the roll. However, since there is currently no manufacturer producing it, they were looking for an equivalent material. Therefore, we proposed our product "VOKA." Currently, the rollers of the machines being manufactured by the company are using our product. It has been reported that the durability has improved compared to the previous material, contributing to the longevity of the rolls. We received a consultation regarding the roll of the steel plate cutting machine designed and manufactured by T Company, as the steel plates were slipping. The slipping of the steel plates led to poor yield and defects in the products, resulting in multiple issues, and they were seeking improvements through material changes. In response, we proposed our "Spike." As a result, we were able to resolve the issue of steel plate slipping. This improved the yield and maximized the machine's performance. [Case Study of Industrial Rubber Roll Introduction] Steel Mill Company J

A case where cost reduction was achieved due to a decrease in roll exchange frequency.

At Company J, related to the steel manufacturing plant, rolls were used in a 24-hour operational line, leading to a decrease in the grip strength of the roll surfaces becoming a problem. Additionally, there was a demand to reduce the annual number of roll replacements and increase production capacity, while also improving the durability of the rolls to achieve cost reductions. To reduce the annual replacement count, we proposed a material that enhances grip strength through our Grifor technology. As a result, the improvement in roll grip strength increased the number of days the rolls could be used, and by reducing the days of line stoppage and roll replacement, we were able to achieve an increase in production capacity. The forklift claw cover has a lifespan of 10 years! This has led to an improvement in quality.

During our rubber roll molding process, we encountered a defect that caused scratches on the shafts, so we were considering corrective measures. To prevent scratches, we manufactured protective covers using polyurethane for the frames and forklift forks that come into contact with the shafts. At Company J, a steel pipe manufacturing company, there was a quality issue where scratches occurred on the steel pipes and fittings due to the gripping part of the fastening machine being made of iron, which could not withstand the torque during fastening. This issue required the use of an elastic material capable of withstanding the required fastening torque, so we manufactured the gripping part's claws using our high-load resistant urethane material, NOR. As a result, we were able to achieve fastening without scratches while satisfying the required fastening torque, leading to improved yield and quality.
