Achieving both yield improvement and quality enhancement! Fastening without defects has become possible.
At Company J, a steel pipe manufacturing company, there was a quality issue where scratches occurred on the steel pipes and fittings due to the gripping part of the fastening machine being made of iron, which could not withstand the torque during fastening. This issue required the use of an elastic material capable of withstanding the required fastening torque, so we manufactured the gripping part's claws using our high-load resistant urethane material, NOR. As a result, we were able to achieve fastening without scratches while satisfying the required fastening torque, leading to improved yield and quality. [Case Study] ■ Background: Quality issue with scratches on steel pipes and fittings during fastening due to torque. ■ Solution: Manufactured the gripping part's claws using NOR, a high-load resistant urethane material. ■ Effect: Achieved both improved yield and quality. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
