As a Japanese furniture retailer, Makuden has always stood in the store thinking about what we can offer our customers. Until now, we have handled not only domestic brands but also many overseas brand furniture, which has pleased our customers. As time passed and we gained more experience in furniture sales, we began to consider whether we could make proposals that only Makuden could offer. We thought that by creating a unique store in Japan, we could provide even greater satisfaction than before. I believed that the store concept I envisioned was to propose furniture that is more focused on "Japan," which I see as Makuden's unique value. Therefore, by establishing a new concept of "Proposals for Japanese Living by Japanese People," we renewed and reopened "NIPPON MODERN Makuden" on March 10, 2016.
