Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where the water-soluble cutting oil "beacon" was implemented at Company K, which processes test pieces for evaluation tests. The company switched from an emulsion-type coolant to type 3, considering SDGs. Previously, they had to perform complete replacements when the odor became strong, resulting in a certain amount of waste generation. However, after the introduction, both the frequency of replacements and the amount of waste decreased. They were surprised to learn that, unlike before when they discarded the coolant due to odor, it is now possible to reliably restore its performance. [Case Overview] ■ Customer Name: Company K (Processing of test pieces for evaluation tests) ■ Oil Used: Type 3 ■ Equipment: MC NC lathe ■ Material Processed: General SUS *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of water-soluble cutting oil "beacon" to Company T, which specializes in equipment parts processing. The company previously used a chlorinated paraffin-containing emulsion coolant. Chlorinated compounds were deemed essential for processing, but due to changes in regulations regarding the use of chemical substances, the use of chlorinated paraffin was banned, leading to a switch to type 3. After the change, they were able to achieve processing performance similar to that of the previous oil, and the tool life was extended. It was noted that the oil is smooth and non-sticky, with no adhesion of chips. 【Case Overview】 ■ Customer Name: Company T (Equipment Parts Processing) ■ Oil Used: Type 3 ■ Equipment: NC Lathe ■ Material Processed: SUS306 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of water-soluble cutting oil "beacon" to Company F, which specializes in machining parts for machine tools. The company was able to process 200 holes using an emulsion-type coolant for tapping operations, but switched to a soluble-type coolant to improve resistance to spoilage. However, with the soluble-type coolant, they could only process 100 holes. After the introduction, they became capable of processing up to 190 holes, and currently, the amount of liquid being taken out is minimal, contributing to a reduction in waste. 【Case Overview】 ■ Customer Name: Company F (Machining Parts for Machine Tools) ■ Oil Used: Type 9 ■ Equipment: JTEKT MC, Makino Milling MC, Mitsui Seiki MC ■ Material Types Processed: Aluminum-Ceramic Composite, Cast Iron *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationIn the manufacturing industry, efforts to achieve carbon neutrality for GHG emissions such as CO2 are accelerating rapidly. The GHG Protocol classifies supply chain emissions into categories called "Scopes" based on the emission sources and phases. 【What are Scopes?】 Scope 1: GHG emissions that are "directly emitted" by companies or organizations through the combustion of fuels or the manufacturing of products. Scope 2: Emissions associated with the use of electricity, heat, steam, etc., purchased from other companies, both domestically and internationally. Scope 3: GHG emissions that occur throughout the entire supply chain, including raw material procurement, manufacturing, logistics, sales, and disposal. In the context of Scope 2 for metal processing sites, efforts to reduce GHG emissions often end up being limited to measures such as reducing electricity consumption. By calculating Scope 3, we can see reductions in the amount of consumables and waste generated at metal processing sites. 'beacon' enables a reduction in usage and a decrease in waste volume, as well as a reduction in GHG emissions through resource conservation, by maintaining a clean coolant state. By calculating up to Scope 3, we are reviewing the selection and formulation of raw materials and promoting a switch to metalworking oil products that do not contain mineral oils.
