In April 2024, the Occupational Safety and Health Act will be amended, and all businesses handling substances subject to risk assessment will be required to implement self-management of chemical substances. However, in reality, there are many voices expressing uncertainty about "what to do." <Consulting Services for Technical Notes> - Listing necessary legal compliance based on the chemical substances used - Establishing a chemical substance management system and implementation structure - Preparing necessary documents, etc. <Key Points of the Legal Amendment> - Approximately 2,900 substances will be subject to mandatory risk assessment - Mandatory measures to reduce exposure after conducting risk assessments - Requirement to appoint a chemical substance manager - Requirement to appoint a person responsible for managing the use of protective equipment - Etc... ● For example, are you using products like these? - Adhesives, sealants, adsorbents - Disinfectants, pest control agents - Coatings, paints, thinners, paint removers - Chemicals used in inks, toners, photo development, etc. - pH adjusters, coagulants, settling agents, neutralizers - Dyes, finishing agents - Lubricants, greases, release agents - Laundry detergents, cleaning agents, bleaches - Extractants, rust preventives, foaming agents, etc.

Free membership registrationWe specialize in the "dissolution processing of rubber and resins using organic solvents" and offer OEM services (contract manufacturing). ■ Feature 1: Small batch and spot production are acceptable Dissolution processing can be commissioned from a minimum of 50L to a maximum of 3,000L, allowing you to produce only the necessary amount of specified formulation solution. * We can also accommodate difficult-to-dissolve and high-viscosity products (up to 60,000 mPa·s). * Small batch production contributes to your inventory issues! "Excess inventory has been stagnant for nearly six months." "We were pointed out by the fire department about excessive hazardous material inventory." "We want to create a production record just once for BCP considerations." We can respond to such needs. ■ Feature 2: Efforts to prevent contamination Generally, it is said that cleaning of stirring tanks for hazardous materials is difficult, but we disassemble the stirring tanks for each product change to remove residues adhering to the inner walls and blades. * For more details, please refer to the materials available for download. You can also view a document summarizing "9 Checkpoints When Choosing a Contract Manufacturer for Dissolution Processing."

Free membership registrationWe manufacture a small amount of resin dissolving liquid in-house using drums and hand mixers, but we have concerns about safety and health regarding the handling of solvents. Additionally, we are worried about inspections by the fire department and the labor standards inspection office. Are there any customers who share these concerns? Our company operates in an environment equipped to handle hazardous materials, as reported to the fire department and the labor standards inspection office. We can produce resin dissolving liquid starting from a minimum of 50L, even on a spot basis. Please feel free to contact us when needed. Free membership registrationBefore manufacturing, there was a problem where residual previous products that could not be completely removed during kettle cleaning (solvent cleaning) mixed into the products, leading to complaints. There were customers who wanted to use the kettle as a dedicated machine, but faced the challenge that the production volume was not sufficient for that. As a solution, by changing the kettle cleaning before manufacturing from "solvent cleaning" to "disassembly cleaning," we can significantly prevent the mixing of previous products. Our company can accept contract manufacturing starting from a minimum of 50L. Please feel free to contact us when you need our services. [Customer's Challenges] ■ Residual previous products that could not be completely removed during kettle cleaning (solvent cleaning) mixed into the products, leading to complaints. ■ Customers want to use the kettle as a dedicated machine, but the production volume is not sufficient for that. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationObjective We verified how much "previous product" remains in the stirring tank (i.e., to what extent the "previous product" can be removed by solvent cleaning) through the measurement of non-volatile components. Verification Method (Solvent Cleaning Method) Immediately after producing resin solution A (dyed purple for visualization), solvent B (2 kg of new solvent) was added to the stirring tank (50L). This mixture was stirred at 40°C for 30 minutes, after which the non-volatile component 1 of the extracted solvent B was measured. Additionally, solvent B (another 2 kg of new solvent) was added, and the above process was repeated to measure non-volatile component 2. Verification Results Non-volatile component 1 = 2.9% → Extracted 58g equivalent of previous product (solid content) through solvent cleaning Non-volatile component 2 = 0.3% → Extracted 6g equivalent of previous product (solid content) through solvent cleaning * Measurement of non-volatile components: Dry weight loss method at 120°C for 30 minutes * Non-volatile component of solvent B (new) = 0.0% Discussion - The fact that non-volatile component 2 was lower than non-volatile component 1 indicates that the effectiveness of solvent cleaning has been confirmed "to some extent." However, although the "previous product" was diluted through two rounds of solvent cleaning, it was not completely removed. * To expect a cleaning method more effective than solvent cleaning, it is considered necessary to "disassemble" the stirring tank and clean the previous product adhered to the internal blades and walls.

Free membership registrationThis page introduces basic knowledge about the dissolution of rubber. General raw rubber (synthetic rubber, natural rubber) comes in a block form called a "bale," which is a rectangular solid weighing about 35 kg. If this bale is directly placed into a dissolution tank, it can cause accidents or malfunctions, so it must be processed through a "roll mill" to be stretched into a thin sheet. Our strength lies in our ability to handle both the "mixing" and "dissolution" of rubber together. We can propose improvements from the mixing process to address issues such as "the viscosity of the rubber dissolution liquid is too high (poor coating properties)" or "the quality of the rubber dissolution liquid varies." *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
