Takenaka Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was founded in 1935 in Osaka as a manufacturer of ship screws. After going through various changes over the years, it has now become a manufacturer focused on unique products, including "Takecoat 1000," and differentiated products that meet high levels of manufacturing and quality assurance. In 1989, the company launched its electronics division, expanding its activities based on "power electronics technology," which has now become another pillar of the company. Valuing the "one-and-only spirit" that creates things not found in the world, Takenaka is committed to providing "manufacturing that meets the expectations of customers and society" with the unified efforts of management and employees in every era.
Business Activities
The Takennaka Electronics Division has been contributing to labor-saving, energy-saving, and weight reduction in the energy sector, which has been gaining attention in recent years, by leveraging its unique power electronics technology and image processing technology. In particular, we continue to provide products that require advanced technical capabilities for infrastructure (roads, railways, hospitals) where high quality, high reliability, and high performance are demanded. We consider it our mission to undertake everything from the design, production, and evaluation of research and development prototypes with high technical difficulty to the design, manufacturing, and quality assurance of custom-made products that require high reliability, and small to medium-scale mass production products, completing them in collaboration with our customers. <Business Overview> Contract development and manufacturing of products centered on power electronics technology and image conversion technology - Acquisition of patents for sensorless motor control technology Development of inverters and converters using cutting-edge technology in-house - Contract development and manufacturing of power electronics devices such as motor control, electromagnetic induction heating, and power conversion (evaluation support available up to 200kW class) - Development of products for infrastructure such as roads, railways, and hospitals that require high reliability Characterized by high technical development capabilities, we possess contract development and manufacturing capabilities closely aligned with customer needs.
