In Saiki City, Oita Prefecture, "WinActor" was introduced in 2020, enabling the automation of paper-based tasks through integration with AI-OCR. A wireless LAN environment with 800 access points has been established in the new hospital! What are the key points for stable operation of the wireless LAN?

We would like to introduce a case study on the network implementation at Kitasato University Hospital. The challenge was how to design the placement of access points (APs) before the building was completed. Normally, a wireless site survey would be conducted using specialized tools to assess the radio wave propagation and interference within the building, and based on the results, the number and location of APs would be determined. However, since the building was not yet finished, this survey could not be conducted. As a solution, we introduced the wireless LAN management tool "OV3600." This tool allows us to monitor the wireless LAN environment over time, including the channel usage of APs, verification of device authentication, and the status of automatic radio wave adjustments.
