The material for molds, "Beryllium Copper," is a high-strength copper alloy with excellent thermal conductivity and superior wear resistance. Even in the molding of engineering plastics (engineering plastics) that require long cooling times, the high thermal conductivity enables a reduction in cycle time. Additionally, the common issue of poor cooling balance in large molds can be addressed, as it can be cooled without temperature variation, making deformation during molding less likely and leading to a reduction in defect rates. (There are examples of dimensional deformation being half compared to typical steel.) *It is also possible to improve the lifespan of copper with the dedicated coatings "DG Coat" and "TG Coat" for Beryllium Copper. **Voices from companies that have adopted this material:** ■Challenge: "We can't increase overtime due to work style reforms...
