We would like to introduce our surface hardening treatment technology for stainless steel, 'Expanite'. The low-temperature gas process "Expanite Low-T" achieves a surface hardness of 900 to 1200 HV after treatment, with a hardened layer depth of 5 to 35 μm. The high-temperature gas process "Expanite High-T" results in a surface hardness of 250 to 900 HV after treatment, with a hardened layer depth of 500 to 1000 μm. It significantly improves surface hardness (1200HV) and wear resistance, and also enhances corrosion resistance. ☆☆Expanite High-T☆☆ This is a high-temperature treatment process using nitrogen gas. It greatly improves corrosion resistance and also increases surface hardness (750HV). Additionally, it enhances wear resistance. ☆☆Super Expanite☆☆ A hybrid process combining Expanite High-T and Expanite Low-T. This process takes the best aspects of each treatment to significantly improve corrosion resistance, surface hardness, and wear resistance.
