"PXB-cells LA" are human fatty liver cells optimized for lipid analysis, derived from fresh human liver cells (PXB-cells) collected through collagenase perfusion from human liver chimeric mice (PXB mice) using a special culture method. It has been confirmed that they can maintain the same lipid metabolic functions as fresh human liver cells at a high level for up to 10 days after delivery. The "PXB Mouse" is an experimental animal that has a human liver, making it closer to humans. As a result, it is possible to predict the efficacy and safety in humans with a higher probability than traditional animal testing in non-clinical trials for drug development.
