The fresh human liver cells, "PXB-cells," can maintain high human metabolic enzyme activity over a long period and can be used for drug metabolism, enzyme induction/inhibition, safety assessments, transporter evaluations, and anti-HBV drug efficacy evaluations in cell experiments.
