Business Activities
This is the Japanese subsidiary of SABIC, a comprehensive chemical manufacturer founded in 1928, headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with 104 locations in 35 countries. In Japan, it has three locations, and at its headquarters in Kasumigaseki, Tokyo, it is responsible for the marketing and sales of general-purpose resins, high-performance resins, super engineering plastics, and film sheets. The business is divided into two divisions: the Petrochemical Division leverages global production activities to develop competitively strong general-purpose resin products. Meanwhile, the Specialty Division provides proposals and materials to meet diverse needs with high-performance resins, super engineering plastics, and film sheets. The Specialty Division has a resin compound manufacturing plant established in 1970 in Moka, Tochigi Prefecture, and a technology center that conducts application development, new coloring, and product evaluation. Since its inception, it has strived to understand challenges from the customer's perspective and provide optimal materials, manufacturing, and quality control as a one-stop solution.
