Since our establishment in 1991, we have primarily developed our business with a focus on the Philippines. In the telecommunications sector, we have leveraged the know-how gained as an international operator and telecommunications carrier in Japan, and in recent years, we have concentrated our resources on the telecommunications business within the Philippines. The Philippine market is currently a non-liberalized market, but we are challenging ourselves to penetrate deeper into it than any major player. The Philippines, which we target as a market, is a very young market with a GDP growth rate of over 6% and an average age of 24 (Source: IMF data, April 2018), and significant market expansion is expected in many fields in the future. Additionally, we are actively engaged in new business ventures, and we have pioneered the international human resources business, launching a domestic foreign talent introduction and dispatch service that was rare at the time. We believe that what Japan needs moving forward is "the market" rather than technology. We have achieved growth by "creating new markets" and were able to go public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers in 2018. We will continue to embrace change and pave the way in uncharted territories.
