You can give instructions to Copilot through already integrated AI features and the new Copilot chat window in widely used Microsoft 365 applications like Word, Teams, and Outlook. While widely adopted generative AI like ChatGPT processes prompts for general LLMs, Copilot accesses the organization's Microsoft Graph, retrieves specific context, data, and history, and then sends this information to the LLM. After the LLM returns results, it ensures that the appropriate data and context are applied again through Microsoft Graph before sending the final output to the user.
