We would like to introduce a case study that addresses the challenges faced by customers struggling with the contracted development of VB application project management software. ■Challenges The customer had developed an application using a VB app and an Access file, but as more users wanted to use the application simultaneously, the current setup could not accommodate this, causing difficulties. ■Proposal We developed a new project management system from scratch using a Windows VC application and SQL database, tailored to the client's specifications, allowing multiple users to execute the project management tasks simultaneously instead of just one. ■Results The waiting time for project management was reduced, and previously, when using the Access file, data corruption would occur, leading to rework. Now, data can be saved in a timely manner without any corruption. ■Key Points of the Case Study - The functionality that was previously limited to one user can now be utilized by multiple users. - Data corruption has been eliminated. - Maintenance time is no longer necessary, allowing more time to be spent on core business activities.

We would like to introduce a case study of a customer's challenges regarding the registration site crawling system. ■Challenge There was a request for system development to regularly obtain information about existing customer trends and potential new sales targets from the website. ■Proposal We decided to set up our own crawler and establish an original search engine. ■Effect The URLs stored in the corporate information database were read by the crawler, and the information was accumulated in Solr. It became possible to search the crawling results from a dedicated site using keywords and other criteria. ■Key Points of the Case Unlike general search engines, this system allows searches to be conducted only from data obtained from the target companies' websites, reducing the occurrence of similar data and improving the efficiency of information gathering.

We will introduce a case study of solving issues for customers struggling with agricultural land association management. ■Issues They were managing the member list and agricultural land list using Excel, and also individually creating documents for the association fees collected twice a year using Excel. ■Proposal We proposed a system using a local web service to manage the member list, agricultural land list, and maps of the agricultural land, allowing for easy printing of invoices and receipts for the association fees. ■Effects Management (updating, searching) of members and agricultural land became easy through the website, enabling bulk printing of invoices and receipts for the association fees collected twice a year, as well as individual printing. ■Key Points of the Case - Centralizing information that was previously managed in individual Excel files into a system reduced the workload. - The system links members with agricultural land, making the issuance of invoices and receipts for the association fees collected twice a year easier. - The system can be rotated among responsible officers with each computer, simplifying the handover process from year to year.
