Since our founding in 2004, Ark has been operating with the theme "Stop! Global Warming!" as our main focus, engaging in businesses related to important infrastructure concerning environmental issues, such as solar power generation and all-electric systems. In light of the Great East Japan Earthquake and experiences like the blackout in Hokkaido, it has become clear that further changes are necessary. What we have learned from these disasters is that we must shift our perspective from viewing these issues as someone else's problem to considering them as our own. The impact of global warming is undoubtedly changing the Earth's environment. At Ark, we are committed to contributing to the creation of cities that can withstand the forces of nature. As locals from Hokkaido who love this region, we want to preserve Hokkaido's environment. To that end, we will do our part, however small, to contribute to the overall reduction of CO2 emissions in society.
