PFOS, PFOA, PFHxS, and their salts are not easily decomposed in the natural environment, and they have become significant issues as they are now regulated substances. In PFAS analysis, if the target compounds are present in the ultrapure water used as a solvent, accurate measurement results cannot be obtained. Our ultrapure water is suitable for PFAS analysis, including PFOS (perfluorooctanesulfonic acid) and PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid), which are designated as water quality management target items, as well as PFHxS (perfluorohexanesulfonic acid), which has recently gained attention as a subject for further consideration, and is managed with low blanks. If lithium-ion batteries (LiB) contain moisture, it can lead to the generation of hydrofluoric acid and gases, potentially causing a decrease in battery capacity, product damage, and swelling. Additionally, it can affect the lifespan, making moisture measurement in lithium-ion battery (LiB) electrolytes important from a quality control perspective. Lithium-ion battery materials are samples where accurate moisture measurement is difficult due to side reactions with alcohols such as methanol. However, the Hydranal NEXTGEN Coulomat A-FA / C-FA series uses alcohol-free Karl Fischer reagents, allowing for accurate moisture measurement even in samples containing lithium-ion battery electrolytes and additives, which have previously posed challenges for moisture measurement. Honeywell's patent describes an invention of a nucleic acid synthesis method using a capping agent that essentially does not contain 1,3,5-trimethylhexahydro-1,3,5-triazine, proposing ultra-high purity capping agents.

The distilled water from Lin Jun Pharmaceutical Industry is produced by distilling ultra-pure water, allowing for the provision of distilled water with fewer impurities (equivalent to A4 water used for testing in JISK0557 water and wastewater). The recent measurements of trace metals in the distilled water produced are all below 5 ppb, and in addition to the conventional product specifications guarantee, tests for total organic carbon (TOC), general bacteria, and E. coli are conducted before container filling.
