The organization conducts "performance evaluation of in-vehicle Ethernet" using an advanced measurement system compliant with the "802.3bw 100BASE-T1" standard, which allows for performance evaluation of in-vehicle Ethernet without being affected by the test environment for immunity in vehicles. In recent years, it has become mainstream for vehicles to be equipped with driving assistance devices that control driving, such as automatic brakes, and autonomous driving functions, and it is expected that automation will further advance alongside electrification. The "Antenna Proximity Immunity Test" is a test that evaluates the resistance of electronic devices by using antennas designed for immunity to nearby electromagnetic fields, generating strong electric fields for each frequency of interference wave. In the field of automotive EMC, it is standardized as ISO 11452-9 (Portable Transmitters). We provide in-vehicle EMC testing services that respond to technological innovations such as electric vehicles (EVs) and autonomous driving, as well as the unique testing requirements of the automotive industry, at three locations: Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. We are gradually equipping testing facilities that can accommodate international standards, including CISPR and ISO standards, as well as the standards of various automobile manufacturers. The third-party certification system operated by the Safety Certification Council for Electrical Appliances (SCEA) certifies products through safety verification testing and quality management inspections of manufacturing facilities. We conduct conformity tests for specified electrical appliances based on Article 9 of the law and issue conformity certificates and conformity equivalence certificates. Manufacturers and importers can display the PSE mark, as stipulated by law, on their products after obtaining the conformity certificate and sell them. For electrical appliances other than specified electrical appliances, businesses are required to confirm compliance with the technical standards based on Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the law. The IECEE CB System (IEC Electrical Equipment Safety Standard Conformity Assessment System) is an international mutual acceptance system for test results of electrical equipment operated by IECEE, with participation from over 50 countries and more than 80 national certification bodies. We are accredited as a testing laboratory by JNLA, an ILAC-MRA accredited body, and conduct testing operations based on JIS C 0920 (the corresponding standard for IEC 60529). Lithium-ion secondary batteries are designated as electrical appliances other than specified electrical appliances under the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law, and businesses are required to confirm compliance with the technical standards of the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law (Appendix Table 9 Lithium-ion Storage Batteries).
