Mota is a French manufacturer specializing in multi-tube (shell and tube) heat exchangers. It began operations near Marseille in southern France in 1958 and has been adopted by OEM companies in Europe, the United States, South Korea, and Japan for applications such as marine diesel engines, gasoline outboard motors, marine and land power generation engines, and hydraulic systems. Mota's strength lies in its collaboration throughout the entire process from design to product development, delivering excellent performance and reliability in cooling systems that match specifications. It manufactures hundreds to hundreds of thousands of medium-sized series heat exchangers annually, ensuring quality through automated production lines, while its subsidiary foundry produces components like housings based on design specifications. Today, Mota selects materials that comply with increasingly important environmental challenges and standards, providing high-quality and high-performance cooling solutions. Mota has received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, known as the U.S. management quality award. In Japan, Mota Asia was established in Osaka in 2020, offering services by Japanese employees. In 2021, it launched inventory operations in Japan to promote flexible and stable supply.
