We would like to introduce our developed "stretchable acrylic elastomer materials" and "stretchable conductive materials."

SUAVE/SUAVE-EL Series

Introducing the rubber-like acrylic resin developed by our company and the conductive ink for stretch sensors!

We would like to introduce the 'SUAVE/SUAVE-EL series' handled by Osaka Organic Chemical Industry. The acrylic resin "SUAVE series" boasts high elasticity and can stretch and contract like rubber. It can be used for device substrates and protective films. Additionally, the "SUAVE-EL series" is a stretchable conductive material that imparts conductivity to acrylic elastomers. Sequential biomimetic materials

It is possible to impart interspecies adhesion, improve stickiness, and enhance adhesion using catechol monomers, which can also provide wet adhesion.

Research has been conducted for many years on the idea that incorporating catechol groups into polymers used as adhesives or glues could provide adhesion and stickiness even in wet environments, based on the fact that the adhesive components of mussels attached to wet rocks contain catechol groups. Our company is developing monomers that contain catechol groups within their molecules, and we created an adhesive as a model to verify whether it can actually adhere to wet substrates, producing tape for testing. Stretchable wiring materials "SUAVE-EL Series"

Stretchable conductive material with conductivity imparted to acrylic elastomer.

Organic piezoelectric film "OPERIS Series"

The "OPERIS series" is an organic piezoelectric material that boasts high heat resistance, flexibility, excellent stretchability, and high-pressure electric properties. Heterogeneous adhesive catechol monomer

Catechol monomer capable of imparting interspecies adhesion, improving adhesiveness, and enhancing tightness.

This is a monomer that contains a catechol with a benzene ring having two OH groups. By adding 1wt% during the polymerization of the monomer, it provides effects such as imparting dissimilar adhesion, improving tackiness, and enhancing adhesion. Additionally, it is also possible to coordinate the catechol group with metals.
