In October 2020, three companies—Tokyo Shokai Co., Ltd., Hishio Chemical Co., Ltd., and Hishiyo Trading Co., Ltd., which are part of Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company's trading division—merged to establish a new entity called Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Trading Co., Ltd. In our Chemical Products Business Unit, Functional Products Department, we handle materials for food, pharmaceuticals, and industrial applications, including the deoxidizer "Ageless," as well as the RP System developed by applying Ageless technology. The RP System has a history of 30 years since its launch as an industrial deoxidizing desiccant and is widely used as a product that can comprehensively address the increasing demands for "long-term storage of EOL products," "cost reduction in small-lot, diverse production," and "quality complaints."
