By leveraging digital twins, it has become possible to discuss while checking the real-time conditions of distant sites. While there is a risk of confidential information being captured by surveillance cameras, utilizing digital twins allows for specific information to be masked, enabling safe information management. Compared to traditional flat dashboards, it allows for a more flexible display of information. With this implementation, it is expected to dispel the "3K (Kitsui, Kitanai, Kiken)" image associated with the press industry and contribute to securing younger talent. We aim to further improve operations and enhance productivity by continuing to advance the use of digital twins. We would like to introduce our efforts in building a digital twin for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using the game engine "Unreal Engine." Building a digital twin incurs enormous costs and faces challenges such as a shortage of specialized personnel, lack of information, few examples at a small scale, a lack of groundwork for digitalization, and a long road ahead that includes IoT. In our SME digital twin initiative, we aim to reduce IoT implementation costs by one-third, develop without the need for specialized knowledge, publicly share information and case studies, and provide comprehensive support from IoT implementation to digital twin construction. In our model case, we provided supportive collaboration with the model company, passed on construction techniques, and achieved qualitative effects in raising awareness of digital transformation (DX) across the entire model company, including employees. We would like to introduce the 'Hovermap STX' that we handle. It provides suitable measurements for various platforms such as UGVs, dog-type robots, shaft gauges, drones, vehicles, and backpacks. It enables seamless 3D scanning both indoors and outdoors. Even complex and intricate shapes can be scanned thoroughly by circling around the target, completing a detailed 3D scan in about one minute.
