Digital twin technology

I will introduce you to digital twin technology.

The benefits of visualizing factory spatial information and work procedures in 3D data.

/Explanation of Digital Twin/ Achieving a new work environment that "enhances human added value" through simulation × digital technology × AI!

A digital twin refers to the technology that reproduces real objects or systems on a computer, utilizing them for analysis, prediction, and improvement. By analyzing operational and production data within a factory, it becomes possible to identify bottlenecks and enhance work efficiency, leading to increased productivity and cost reduction. ■ Benefits of Implementing Digital Twins 1. Remote understanding of on-site conditions You can check the operational status of machines and the condition of production lines in real-time from remote locations, making discussions more efficient. 2. Safe information management Digital twins display only essential information and can mask confidential parts, thereby enhancing safety. 3. Flexible and intuitive information display Unlike flat dashboards, you can freely change perspectives and overlay information, allowing for an intuitive grasp of on-site conditions. 4. Contributing to securing young talent It becomes easier to dispel the image of "3K (hard, dirty, dangerous)" and promote the workplace as a comfortable and advanced environment. \ For more details, please view the PDF data by downloading the catalog / We also welcome inquiries regarding digital twins and data measurement, so feel free to contact us.

Visualizing factory spatial information and work procedures in 3D data.

Creating a new work environment that enhances human added value through simulation × digital technology × AI!

We will introduce the effects and expectations of utilizing digital twins in factories. By leveraging digital twins, it has become possible to discuss while checking the real-time conditions of distant sites. While there is a risk of confidential information being captured by surveillance cameras, utilizing digital twins allows for specific information to be masked, enabling safe information management. Compared to traditional flat dashboards, it allows for a more flexible display of information. With this implementation, it is expected to dispel the "3K (Kitsui, Kitanai, Kiken)" image associated with the press industry and contribute to securing younger talent. We aim to further improve operations and enhance productivity by continuing to advance the use of digital twins. [Overview] ■ Efficiency in discussions with remote locations ■ Enhanced security measures ■ Advanced data visualization and analysis ■ Improved industry image and talent acquisition *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Efforts to solve issues through the construction of a "digital twin" for small and medium-sized enterprises.

You can easily and inexpensively build a virtual factory to address issues such as not knowing production progress and inventory status, difficulties in creating production plans, and whether to expand equipment.

We would like to introduce our efforts in building a digital twin for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using the game engine "Unreal Engine." Building a digital twin incurs enormous costs and faces challenges such as a shortage of specialized personnel, lack of information, few examples at a small scale, a lack of groundwork for digitalization, and a long road ahead that includes IoT. In our SME digital twin initiative, we aim to reduce IoT implementation costs by one-third, develop without the need for specialized knowledge, publicly share information and case studies, and provide comprehensive support from IoT implementation to digital twin construction. In our model case, we provided supportive collaboration with the model company, passed on construction techniques, and achieved qualitative effects in raising awareness of digital transformation (DX) across the entire model company, including employees. [Challenges of the Model Company] ■ Reduced digital twin (IoT implementation) costs by one-third (300,000 yen/year) ■ Development without the need for specialized knowledge, with information and case studies publicly available (development period of 2 months) ■ Comprehensive support from IoT implementation to digital twin construction *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

The slope and unevenness of concrete floor surfaces during the installation and maintenance of equipment are important factors that affect the precision and safety of the equipment. Issues with the floor surface can increase the risk of equipment failure and accidents. This document is a report on the verification conducted to confirm the accuracy of reference surfaces when installing equipment such as machine tools and belt conveyors. Using Hovermap, the concrete floor surface was scanned, and mesh data and surface data (in CAD format) were generated from point cloud data. This data will be useful as foundational information for accuracy verification and construction efficiency during future equipment installation and renovations. 【Application Scenarios】 - Installation of equipment within plants - Maintenance of equipment within power stations - Checking the condition of floor surfaces in substations and other facilities 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Contributes to stable operation of equipment - Reduces maintenance costs - Enhances safety
