Under the Food Labeling Act, it is possible to indicate the "functionality" of food, which is the tertiary function of food, such as "Foods for Specified Health Uses" and "Foods with Functional Claims." Our center has a wealth of analytical results for various functional (active) components, and we have listed an example of the analytical items below. Additionally, we have many other analytical items that are not listed, so please feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe Food Labeling Standards (Cabinet Office Ordinance No. 10 of 2015) were enacted in April 2015 based on the Food Labeling Act (Law No. 70 of 2013). As a result, it became mandatory to display nutritional information for processed foods and additives that are pre-packaged for general consumers. While it is possible to use calculated values from raw materials or estimated values from similar foods, establishing accurate nutritional information requires definitive values based on proper analytical data. We accept requests related to nutritional labeling in order to provide reference data for determining the display values of nutritional information.
