We have added new products SL-GMS .NX/Developer and .NX/Custom Editor V1.0a, which quickly support .NET 6, released as the first Long-Term Support (LTS) version, to SL-GMS (C++, Java, .NET Framework, HTML5), a dedicated tool with a long track record for developing dynamic GUI/HMI and custom editors for monitoring and control systems (DCS/SCADA). This further enhances the full lineup from remote monitoring via the web to cloud operation dashboards from the control room. As before, it maintains compatibility with dynamic graphic models and APIs created interactively using the common SL-GMSDraw editor, remaining transparent in the use of SL-GMS. It provides viewer controls for browsing and operating screens, as well as editor controls for creating custom editors, allowing applications to be developed using .NET 6-based Visual Studio 2022.

SL-GMS Web/Developer is a new product developed with the aim of operating monitoring screens created with the same SL-GMSDraw editor as traditional SL-GMS products (C++, Java, Microsoft .NET) in the cloud using HTML5 and JavaScript in web browsers. Dynamic graphic models with various attributes can be interactively created in the SL-GMSDraw editor, and the monitoring screens that allow immediate verification of their dynamic behavior within the editor are converted into compact and fast HTML5 code using the SL-GMS HTML5 code generator. The shock of the extraordinarily compact and fast Java applets generated by the SL-GMS J/Developer (Java) code generator over 20 years ago in 1998 is revived once again in HTML5. With the drawing technology and graphic code generation technology that SL has cultivated over many years, we achieve web browser operation of monitoring screens in HTML5 that are unparalleled in interactivity and performance.

SL-GMS Developer for .NET is a dynamic GUI and dedicated custom editor development tool for monitoring and control systems using Visual Studio within the Microsoft .NET Framework. Using the SL-GMSDraw dynamic graphic editor, you can create graphic operation screens with various dynamic attributes, such as changing alarm colors based on thresholds, moving connections in system diagrams, and toggling equipment on and off, independently from the application, and immediately preview and confirm their dynamic behavior within the editor. Additionally, the uniquely compact and fast SL-GMS Windows Forms application developed for desktop use can operate transparently over the web/remote (thin client) without modification, achieving high interactivity and performance equivalent to local operation. ■ A wealth of case studies and various demo videos are available on our website.
