Our company, Octo Co., Ltd., has been developing, manufacturing, and selling automatic ticket vending machines for cinemas, foreign currency exchange machines, IC card charging machines, and IC card payment machines, based on our long-cultivated core technology for automating the handling of banknotes and coins. In recent years, we have expanded our services with a motto of safety and security, including cash register applications and self-checkout machines. Furthermore, as cashless transactions are advancing globally, Japan has fallen behind in developing the infrastructure for cashless payments and has been referred to as a cash-centric nation. We will continue to develop new services that meet the demands of the times for cashless transactions.
