The history of EAO, which began in 1947 in Olten, Switzerland. The company started with the production of transformers. We gained high recognition in 1958 for developing the world's first illuminated push-button switch. In 1965, we developed the 16mmφ type, which was the first EAO product delivered to Japan. Since then, our products have been adopted in Japan and around the world in equipment where safety and reliability are essential. In 1997, we established EAO Japan Co., Ltd., creating a system that allows us to respond attentively to the needs of our customers in Japan.
