PBI Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. develops and sells compound materials blended with various fillers for materials supplied by resin manufacturers. Additionally, it manufactures raw materials for processing, machined finished products, and injection-molded finished products in-house. Currently, the company is focusing on the development and supply of raw materials for machining that exhibit "heat resistance," "antistatic properties," and "wear resistance," primarily in the semiconductor manufacturing field. Its parent company, Sato Light Industry Co., Ltd., was established in 1958 in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, as the headquarters of the Sato Group. It currently operates three production facilities and is heavily involved in the processing of resin products, primarily through injection molding of general-purpose resins and engineering plastics. Sato Light Industry utilizes various processing technologies, including injection molding and resin cutting, as well as ultrasonic welding, compression molding, and heat sealing, to provide total solutions from product design and development to assembly that meet user needs. The company also strives to improve production efficiency by independently developing production equipment, and the products created through strict quality control are supplied to a wide range of fields, including OA equipment parts, automotive parts, and home appliances.
