The "8000 Series" is a machining material that uses polyimide resin based on biphenyl tetracarboxylic dianhydride (BPDA) manufactured by Ube Industries. This polyimide achieves significant improvements in "heat resistance" and "reduced water absorption" compared to conventional polyimides. The "7000 Series" is a cutting material made from PBI resin, an ultra-high-performance plastic, through compression molding.
