We have made it possible to combine continuous fibers and discontinuous fibers in a process called "hybrid molding" through our unique technology. Traditionally, multiple processes were required using methods such as press molding and injection molding, but we have achieved molding in a single process using only press molding. We can add ribs/bosses made of discontinuous fibers to the inner surface, while designing the outer layer with a rich aesthetic using continuous fibers. "CFRTP" is a fiber-reinforced plastic that uses CF as a reinforcing material and employs thermoplastic resin instead of thermosetting resin as the base material. It allows for a reduction in the molding process, enabling press processing and fusion bonding, achieving significant improvements in productivity and low costs. Compared to thermosetting resins, thermoplastics have higher toughness, resulting in excellent impact resistance.
