This is a filter cartridge for removing impurities (solid substances) such as sand, mud, sludge, and debris from low-cost liquids. It handles commonly used filter types such as wound type filters, melt-blown type filters, and pleated type filters that increase the filtration surface area and reduce pressure loss.

The jumbo-sized filter is a filtration system that uses a stainless steel filter housing "HIFP-F-17 type" and a dedicated filter cartridge "JPEP type." It can handle a large flow rate with low pressure loss compared to conventional filter cartridges. With a processing capacity of 300 to 560 L/min per unit, it can handle a very high flow rate, significantly reducing the number of filter cartridges typically used. Additionally, having fewer cartridges greatly minimizes the hassle of filter replacement. Moreover, jumbo-sized cartridges with a rating of 5μm or higher can be reused several times by washing away coarse debris that adheres to the filter's filtration surface.

The charge-adsorbing filtration fiber "ZetaMax" has a positive surface potential in the liquid. Particles dispersed in the liquid, such as "pigments," "oil particles," "bacteria," "viruses," "glass," "colloidal silica," "colloidal particles," and "color components," have a negative surface potential in the liquid (which varies with pH). The oil that has become an emulsion is in a state where oil particles have been refined due to ultrasonic waves or friction at sliding surfaces. Such oil cannot achieve a difference in specific gravity with water, resulting in an emulsion (emulsified) state without separating from water. The oil removal filter adsorbs tiny oil particles in an emulsion state onto the surface fibers of the filter. Tiny oil particles continue to adhere to the fiber surface, gradually increasing in size, and once they exceed a certain size, they detach from the fiber surface due to the force of the water flow and flow out to the secondary side of the filter. At this time, the oil particles that have flowed out are larger than several micrometers in diameter, making them easily separable from water and causing them to float. As a result, the oil particles that were in an emulsion state on the primary side of the filter are separated from water on the secondary side due to the difference in specific gravity.
