Since its founding in 1930, Sankosha has expanded its business in response to the needs of the times, from the design and manufacturing of communication security devices and lightning rods to the design and manufacturing of meteorological observation instruments and optical technology-related equipment. Additionally, we established Franklin Japan (in Sagamihara City), a lightning and weather information company, and provide high-precision lightning strike information services through a lightning observation network installed throughout Japan, solidifying our position as the world's only comprehensive company related to 'lightning,' from observation to protection.
