In recent years, the technology for joining metals has evolved, leading to the development of a joining method that operates at lower temperatures and without contamination compared to traditional welding techniques. This method is called FSW (Friction Stir Welding). FSW does not melt the metals to join them; instead, it uses a special tool and is performed on a machining center. Because this method operates at a low joining temperature, the deformation caused to the metals is minimal, significantly shortening the distortion correction process. Additionally, since it is performed using NC (numerical control), there is an advantage of eliminating variations caused by differences in the skills of operators (such as welders). Automated construction using a machining center ensures consistent product quality. Furthermore, it does not produce harmful rays, sparks, or fumes, making it environmentally friendly. FSW (Friction Stir Welding) is expected to gain increasing attention in the future and is said to become an indispensable technology in the manufacturing of metal products.

Free membership registrationThis is a groundbreaking technology that enables the expression of images on metal panels by applying three-dimensional cutting processing techniques used in metal manufacturing. (Registered patent No. 5282171 in 2013, obtained a patent in the United States in 2016) The highlights move in response to the reflection of light depending on the viewing angle, making the motif's image appear three-dimensional and radiant, almost like a hologram. It is a completely new method of expression that differs from the mechanisms used to create three-dimensionality in traditional metal reliefs. By simply carving into the material slightly, it is possible to express a powerful depth that is unattainable with nearly flat low reliefs (shallow carvings) using a thin plate of just 1 millimeter in thickness.
