What is honing processing?

High precision for cylindricity, straightness, and surface roughness! Introducing Kuraki's "Honing Process."

"Honing processing" is an excellent machining method that can precisely polish the inner surfaces of cylindrical machine parts, such as engine and hydraulic equipment cylinders. By applying micro-vibrations in addition to rotational cutting with an electroplated grinding wheel, vibration grinding allows for high-precision finishing of cylindricity, straightness, and surface roughness in a single pass.
